Buses from Sarajevo International Airport with Bus Routes and Times

From Sarajevo International Airport, buses generally depart almost every few hours. You can buy your about €3 one-way ticket to the city or the Airport on the bus.

Regarding the bus stops, the bus will stop at all bus stops when departing in either direction (to/from the Airport), and the bus stops are conveniently positioned near tram stops.

You can't miss Centrotrans, the city's largest bus company; its massive white buses are decorated with a blue Centrotrans emblem.

Keep an eye out for the more significant coach type that says Bascarsija (City Centre) - Aerodrom, as this is the airport bus.

The regular City bus is smaller and has a small sign on the left corner of the windscreen written Vijecnica - Dobrinja (when going from the direction of the city center, and vice versa).

At bus stops along the way, drivers typically slow down to pick up additional passengers before continuing to the Airport.

Just hang out by the tram stop in Old Town (Bascarsija), watch the Airport Bus, and give the driver a wave if you see him. The airport bus does not have a dedicated bus stop.

You can take a bus straight to the Airport from the University of Sarajevo campus. We provide daily, 24-hour service with departures every four hours. A total of 23 minutes is needed for the trip.

A bus from the Sarajevo Uni Campus to the Sarajevo Airport runs every 4 hours, provided by Centrotrans Eurolines. The average price for a ticket is €3.
